This adds use of sessionStorage for the documentation visibility toggle.
This way, when multiple windows are open, the docs can be controlled
separately in each window. Local storage is still used as the default
value for new windows.

This changes things up a bit so that files are handled by uuid instead
of path. The allows for files to be renamed without breaking things.
Also some improvements with persistence of the view state for each
file is made.
This replaces the ace editor with the monaco editor. It fixes quite a
few small paper-cut bugs and should be easier to add code completion
to in the future.
Many of the snippets are omitted but can be added back later if needed.
Otherwise, we have tried to preserve the existing look and feel as much
as possible.
